I am curious where Ural stands at this time with their Concert CDD unit. Does Ural consider this a finished project, leaving it where it is and moving on? Or are they still working on the unit and its planned still to be suggested features?
Has Ural been considering expanding distributors? To the US? Or especially the heavily populated Japanese market? Where does Ural see themselves in 5 years? Where does Ural stand as a car audio company in Russia?
I see them rolling out with new hardware with testing of new coaxials and subs as well as the CDD Evolution supporting not only SD and USB(only the second unit I've seen offer this after JVC's KD-SH1000) for the flash drive folks but also engine sensor readings. They seem to be progressing nicely.
I just hope they don't give up on the Concert. They've always seemed to have wonderous plans for it. If Ural has given up on further developement of the unit, I had only one request. I would ask Ural to give the future of the Concert over to the users if they do not plan to continue with the project. 3rd party developers could take the unit beyond the developers' wildest dreams, if they were allowed the opportunity.
